Translational Sciences undergrad intern (Summer 2027)

What You Will Do

Let’s do this. Let's change the world. During this program, you will support research that advances human-relevant in vitro assays for drug safety testing. Drug safety testing helps identify potential safety concerns early and informs decisions during medicine development. Many established assays use 2D cell cultures, which may not fully capture human biology; more human-relevant models may help make safety assessments more informative.

Perform laboratory studies using human cell culture models.
Assist with experiments that assess cellular responses relevant to drug safety.
Record, organize, and analyze experimental data.
Compare findings across assay conditions and cell types to evaluate assay performance.
Present results and observations to the research team.
Follow laboratory procedures and safety practices.
