Privacy
The short version: we keep what we need to run your account and alerts, and nothing else.
What we store
- Your account: your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with GitHub or Google.
- Your preferences: the major and locations you pick, used to sort jobs for you.
- Your job alerts: the searches you save and which jobs we've already emailed you, so you never get the same job twice.
- Resume Tailor usage: when you used it, to enforce the daily limit. Not what you pasted.
The Resume Tailor
When you click “Tailor My Resume”, the resume and job description you pasted are sent to DeepSeek, an AI provider, to generate suggestions, and the result is shown to you. We don't save either text. DeepSeek's own privacy policy covers how it handles requests. Remove anything you'd rather not share, such as your phone number or address, before you paste your resume.
In your browser
A cookie keeps you signed in. Your company shortcuts and your Resume Tailor draft are saved in your browser's local storage and never leave your device unless you submit them. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Sign-in links and job alerts are sent through Resend, an email delivery service. Every alert email links to your account page, where you can unsubscribe.
Job listings
Listings come from companies' public career pages. Visa-sponsorship labels are generated automatically from the posting text. Most company logos are loaded from Google's website-icon service, so your browser contacts Google when you view the company directory.
Deleting your data
You can remove alerts yourself on your account page. To delete your account and everything linked to it, email us and we'll do it.
