Would you like to work with top professionals in our industry?
If your answers are mostly yes, then you should keep reading.
At Nomagic, we’re on a mission to teach robots the real world. We develop AI-enabled robotic systems for warehouse item picking and are looking for Engineering & Commercial Development Interns to evaluate customer operations, build automation business cases, and develop new commercial opportunities. This sales-engineering-led internship combines warehouse-operations analysis, robotics, data-driven modeling, and practical customer development.
Offer Essentials:
- Spring 2027 internship, working on-site at the Nomagic facility in Roswell, GA.
- Paid hourly, with a typical 40-hour work week. Final weekly schedule, compensation, duration, and work arrangement will be confirmed in the final posting.
- Potential regional travel to customer sites and physical work on robotic cells for hands-on experience.
- Learn to translate warehouse data into robotic rate and ROI models and customer business cases, while developing practical prospecting, discovery, and CRM skills.
Here is why we love this job ourselves, and hope you will enjoy it too:
- We build robots powered by AI.
- We have them in production at scale and see their real impact on critical operations.
- You’ll connect engineering analysis with customer needs and see how robotic solutions create business value.
- We’re still pretty small, so everyone has a direct impact on the final result
- Our team has built Google Warsaw and unicorn startups (Climate Corp, DeepMind), tested rocket engines, and worked at top companies such as Nvidia, ByteDance, Snowflake, and DeepMind. Now we shape the future of smart robotics together!
- We combine world-class research with top-notch engineering and apply it to solve real problems.
Some of the problems you may try to solve with us
- Develop and use robot rate and ROI calculators for live opportunities; document assumptions and clearly communicate results.
- Research volume, labor, schedules, and costs; participate in customer or prospect site visits when possible.
- Evaluate item-picking workflows and identify robot-cell or process concepts that improve throughput, labor utilization, and solution fit.
- Build target-account and contact lists; refine Nomagic’s ideal customer profile (ICP) by warehouse use case, company profile, and buyer role.
- Research prospects, run tailored outreach cadences, and keep engagement and CRM records current.
- Engage qualified contacts, book and join discovery meetings, and document customer needs and automation potential.
- Report account coverage, outreach activity, meetings created, and pipeline generation or movement.
- Attend trade events to boost our brand awareness, develop industry relationships, and boost our prospect lists.
What skills we’d like you to have:
- You are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, or another relevant engineering discipline. Relevant quantitative, operations, or technical backgrounds are also welcome.
- Interest in robotics, warehouse operations, logistics, manufacturing, or material handling.
- Strong spreadsheet and quantitative-modeling skills; clear communication; and organized, proactive follow-through.
- Experience with Excel or Google Sheets, data analysis, CAD or layout tools, warehouse operations, CRM systems, or outbound outreach.
- Exposure to HubSpot, Salesloft, or similar outreach/CRM software is helpful but not required.
What should you expect once you apply?
One virtual interview with the hiring manager, followed by an onsite interview at Nomagic US Headquarters in Roswell, GA. Total time for a decision can vary by number of applicants, but we strive to have a final decision to you 2-3 days after the on-site interview.
Important: expect detailed feedback after completing the process regardless of our decision.
