Together, we won’t stop!
Get hands-on experience, training—and a leg up on a bright future.
T-Mobile didn’t become a leader by following the playbook. We got here by breaking it. We’re a disruptor that now plays on a higher tier, and we’re still raising the bar for millions of customers nationwide. If you want to work somewhere that sets the standard instead of matching it, this is your place. This is an 11-week paid learning experience where you’ll do real work, not busywork. You’ll build relationships with other interns and leaders across the company, and you’ll be paired with mentors who will challenge you to grow skills that matter. We’ll give you hands-on projects with real stakes, and we expect your creativity and sharp ideas to make an immediate impact. You’ll work alongside T-Mobile employees who have your back and who still believe the best ideas can come from anyone.
What It’s Like
Our Quality Engineering team sits within Vistar Media (T-Mobile Ads). We are small enough that your work gets seen and big enough that it matters. We partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Business teams to validate new features, catch defects early, and deliver a seamless experience for our customers. A typical week mixes hands-on test development, collaboration with engineers, and team discussions where your questions and ideas carry weight. You don’t need a background in advertising or QA frameworks. You need curiosity, a growth mindset, and a drive to learn.
What You’ll Do
As a Quality Engineering Intern (SDET), you’ll develop and maintain automated tests for key workflows on T-Ads Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising platform. You’ll use modern tools such as Cypress and TypeScript while learning testing best practices, debugging techniques, and how automation fits into the software development lifecycle. Your work will reduce manual testing effort, catch defects sooner, and build confidence in a platform that powers digital advertising, helping T-Mobile stay ahead.
Key Responsibilities

- Join refinement sessions and team discussions to gain exposure to real-world software engineering practices.
- Drive improvements in test automation, regression testing, and overall software quality while learning modern testing methodologies.
What It Takes
