At Travelers, our vision is to advance our ability to fuel analytic-driven business decisions by accelerating cross-enterprise collaboration and capabilities. The Business Insights & Analytics Leadership Development Program (BI&ALDP) internship is built for analytically driven students who are serious about launching a career in data and analytics. This is not a passive, observational internship — you will do real work, solve real business problems, and be evaluated like a professional from day one.
Over 10 weeks, you and your cohort of peers will be embedded in Travelers' data and analytics community, gaining hands-on experience in one or more of our core analytics disciplines while building the technical and professional skills that define a successful career.
Technical training is delivered to you by current full-time BI&ALDP participants — those who were recently in your position — giving you an authentic, peer-informed perspective on what it takes to grow here.
Housing: The internship program is based in Hartford, CT and St. Paul, MN. Positions are available in our business units and corporate departments. Subsidized apartments are available for students who live beyond a commutable distance from Hartford, CT or St. Paul, MN.
Positions are available from June through early August.

- Leverage modern analytical and artificial intelligence (AI) tools/platforms with the ability to apply critical thinking to evaluate limitations related to quality and accuracy of AI-assisted outputs.
- At the close of the internship, top-performing interns are eligible to interview for a full-time offer to join the BI&ALDP — making these 10 weeks one of the most important career opportunities of your academic journey.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
