Create an impact by shaping the world of education!
Amplify is seeking a strategic Product Management Intern to join our team this summer and help us define, prioritize, and deliver innovative product experiences for the educators, students, and families who use our cutting-edge educational products. This paid, remote 10-week internship offers the chance to make a real impact on products used by millions of students and teachers.
If you're comfortable with product thinking, structured problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration, and you're genuinely curious about how great products are built from ideation through launch, this could be a perfect fit for you. The ideal candidates will love translating user needs and business goals into clear product requirements, bring an eager, collaborative energy to your work, and feel excited to help shape product strategy that makes K–12 learning more impactful, engaging, and accessible for all users.
Though remote, interns will join a 2-day in-person experience at Amplify HQ in Brooklyn, NY. Throughout the program, interns will engage with Amplify's culture via product demos, team-building activities, and engagement initiatives, plus grow through a virtual speaker series featuring Amplify executives, additional product demos, and dedicated mentorship.
While our summer intern roles are remote positions, interns must be authorized to work in the US, reside in the US for the internship's duration, and be available full-time for the entire program, June 7 – August 13, 2027.
Key responsibilities may include:
Support the product development lifecycle — from discovery and requirements gathering through sprint planning, feature delivery, and post-launch analysis — across Amplify's web and mobile product suite
Help identify user needs, market opportunities, and product gaps through qualitative and quantitative research to inform roadmap prioritization and strategic decision-making
Partner with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Data Analytics, and Customer Experience to align on product requirements, success metrics, and delivery timelines
Assist with the creation and maintenance of product requirement documents (PRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, roadmap presentations, and release notes
Contribute to competitive analysis, feature benchmarking, market research, and user feedback synthesis to support data-informed product decisions
Track product performance metrics, feature adoption data, and user engagement trends to help teams evaluate impact and identify opportunities for iteration
Participate in sprint ceremonies, product reviews, stakeholder demos, and leadership meetings to build knowledge of Amplify's product strategy, development processes, and organizational priorities
What we can offer you:
Direct exposure to product management tools, frameworks, and best practices used in EdTech
Real-world product challenges that directly impact the experience of educators, students, and families
Collaboration with Product, Engineering, Design, and Analytics teams across the organization
Mentorship from industry professionals at the forefront of product management in education technology
Exposure to Product Strategy, Roadmap Planning, Agile Development, User Research, Go-to-Market Planning, and Product Analytics
Hands-on training in a fast-paced, agile environment
Opportunities to help shape the features, experiences, and innovations that define Amplify's product suite for millions of K–12 users
