Electrical Engineering Intern

At Oshkosh, we build, serve and protect people and communities around the world by designing and manufacturing some of the toughest specialty trucks and access equipment. We employ over 18,000 team members all united by a common purpose. Our engineering and product innovation help keep soldiers and firefighters safe, is critical in building and keeping communities clean and helps people do their jobs every day.

THE ROLE

As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on engineering experience supporting the design, development, integration, and testing of electrical systems for Oshkosh vehicles and products.

You’ll work alongside Electrical Engineers and cross-functional teams to apply what you’re learning in the classroom to real engineering challenges. Depending on your project assignment, you may gain experience with vehicle electrical systems, embedded controls, wire harness design, electrical schematics, component selection, prototype builds, testing, or troubleshooting.

Throughout your internship, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful engineering work, build your technical skills, and see your designs and solutions come to life on real products.
