Where These Listings Come From, and How They're Checked

Counts on this page were read off the site's live pages on November 7, 2026; each one links to its page for the current number.

Sources

Every listing comes from an employer's own career page: the 2,001 companies in the directory (as of November 7, 2026), checked by an automated crawl once a day. There are no aggregator feeds and no user-submitted listings, and every Apply button goes to the employer's own application.

Freshness

Each posting shows when it was first seen. The daily crawl re-checks every employer's page, and a posting is marked closed only when a successful check finds it gone from that page. If a check fails, nothing is closed on a guess; the posting stays as it was until the next successful check.

Duplicates

When an employer lists the same posting for several cities, it appears here as one posting with its list of locations, and each location keeps its own application link. Repeat requisitions of the same role at the same place count once in every statistic on the site.

Pay

Pay is shown only when the posting itself publishes it, and a range is shown as the posting prints it. On the pay page, 42.8% of open postings publish pay (5,209 of 12,158, as of Nov 6, 2026).

Visa labels

A sponsorship label is shown only together with the exact sentence from the posting that supports it, quoted on the job page. If the posting doesn't say, there is no label.

It wasn't always like this. An earlier keyword-based pass had stamped a large share of postings with visa labels the postings didn't support. On October 31, 2026 we removed every label that had no supporting quote and rebuilt the labelling so it can only answer with a verbatim quote from the posting; the sponsorship-friendly count dropped sharply. On November 7, 2026, the visa sponsorship page lists 125 roles flagged as more likely to sponsor, and that is the number we publish.

What gets removed

Test postings and roles that aren't internships (postdoctoral, new-grad and senior full-time roles) are quarantined: held off the board until someone reviews them.
